Largest Indian Company at end of 2026? identifies the company with the largest market cap among major Indian public firms as of December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. If two listed firms merge before resolution, the acquirer remains the reference for size; if no clear acquirer or a merged entity trades under a new ticker, the alphabetically first merged entity is used. Settlement relies on Bombay Stock Exchange market cap rankings, or a credible reporting consensus if needed.

Rules
This market will resolve to the largest Indian public company by market cap on December 31, 2026, at 11:59PM ET. In the event that two listed companies merge prior to the resolution date, the merged entity will be considered to be the same company as the acquirer. If there is no clear acquirer, or if the merged entity trades under a new ticker, the merged entity will be considered to be the company that comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be the market cap rankings published by the Bombay Stock Exchange, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
