Description
WSOP: Player of the Year is decided by the official 2026 World Series of Poker POY leaderboard. The winner is the player who finishes 1st on the final POY standings after all POY‑qualifying events complete. If an unlisted player leads, the market resolves to Other. In case of a tie for 1st, the WSOP tiebreaker procedure applies; if still tied, the alphabetically earliest listed name wins. If the 2026 WSOP POY race is cancelled or a final leaderboard is not determined by January 14, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market resolves to Other. Resolution sources include the WSOP leaderboard and credible reporting when needed.
