Description
The 2026 Reno mayoral election selects Reno's next mayor. Held on November 3, 2026, the race resolves to the winning candidate or to “Other” if results are unknown by April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Interim mayors do not count, and a credible-reporting consensus guides resolution unless results are unclear, in which case official sources from Nevada, Washoe County, and the City of Reno govern settlement.

Rules
The 2026 Reno mayoral election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect the mayor of Reno, NV. This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of Reno as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to “Other.” The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from the State of Nevada, Washoe County, and the City of Reno.
